Ways to Uninstall and Install udhcpc Ubuntu 22.04

Busybox contains a very small yet fully functional RFC compliant DHCP client formerly known as udhcpc. I will show you how to install udhcpc on Ubuntu 22.04 in this tutorial.

Requirements to install

  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04 or older versions with more than 2GB RAM
  • Privileges: Verify that you can execute the sudo commands line.

Install udhcpc using APT

Step 1: You must update the APT package repository cache before attempting to install, update, or remove any packages. Update the APT database to download new packages from Ubuntu. Launching the terminal and entering the following Linux command:

sudo apt update
