How to Install or Uninstall scim-dev Ubuntu 22.04

Prerequisites to install

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 or older versions with more than 2GB RAM
  • Privileges: Make sure you are able to execute sudo commands.

Install scim-dev Ubuntu 22.04

Install scim-dev using APT

This is one of the most popular methods for installing Ubuntu packages since it is simple to understand, even if you are a Linux novice. Following these instructions to install scim-dev on your Ubuntu 22.04.

Step 1: You must update the APT package repository cache before attempting to install, update, or remove any packages. Update the APT database to download new packages from Ubuntu. Opening the terminal and executing this Linux command:

sudo apt update

Step 2: Start the package installation on Ubuntu 22.04. After updating, you can install scim-dev Ubuntu by pasting this command into the terminal and executing it.

sudo apt-get install scim-dev

Install scim-dev using Aptitude
