How to Install or Uninstall rt4-standalone on Ubuntu 22.04

Request Tracker (RT) is a ticketing system which enables a group of people to intelligently and efficiently manage tasks, issues, and requests submitted by a community of users. It features web, email, and command-line interfaces (see the package rt4-clients). In this tutorial, I will show you how to install rt4-standalone on Ubuntu 22.04.

Requirements

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 or older versions with more than 2GB RAM
  • Privileges: Ensure that you are able to execute the sudo commands line.

Prerequisites to install rt4-standalone on Ubuntu 22.04

Install rt4-standalone Ubuntu 22.04

Install rt4-standalone using APT

Step 1: The APT package repository cache needs to be updated before you try to install, update, or remove any packages. Obtain new packages from Ubuntu by updating the APT database. Opening the terminal and executing the following Linux command:

Uninstall rt4-standalone on Ubuntu 22.04
