How to Install and Uninstall open-adventure Ubuntu 22.04

This is the last descendent of the original 1976 Colossal Cave Adventure worked on by the original authors – Crowther & Woods. It has sometimes been known as Adventure 2.5. The original PDP-10 name ‘advent’ is used for the built program to avoid collision with the BSD Games version. I will show you how to install open-adventure on Ubuntu 22.04 in this guide.

Install open-adventure using APT

This is a popular method for installing any Ubuntu packages because it is simple to understand, even if you are a Linux beginner. Following these instructions to get open-adventure on your Ubuntu 22.04.

Step 1: You must update the APT package repository cache before attempting to install, update, or remove any packages. Update the APT database to fetch new packages from Ubuntu. Opening the terminal and executing the following Linux command:

sudo apt-get update

Step 2: Install the package on Ubuntu 22.04. After updating, you can install open-adventure Ubuntu by pasting this command into the terminal and executing it.
