How to Install and Uninstall odoo-14 on Ubuntu 22.04

This suite of applications covers all business needs, from Website/Ecommerce down to manufacturing, inventory and accounting, all seamlessly integrated. Odoo’s technical features include a distributed server, flexible workflows, an object database, a dynamic GUI, customizable reports, and an XML-RPC interface. Odoo is the most installed business software in the world. It is used by 2.000.000 users worldwide ranging from very small companies (1 user) to very large ones (300 000 users). In this tutorial, I will show you how to install odoo-14 on Ubuntu 22.04.

Install odoo-14 Ubuntu 22.04

Install odoo-14 using APT

This is a popular method for installing any Ubuntu packages because it’s easy to follow, even if you are a newbie in Linux. Following these steps to install odoo-14 on your Ubuntu.

Step 1: You must update the APT package repository cache before attempting to install, update, or remove any packages. Update the APT database to fetch new packages from Ubuntu. Opening the terminal and executing the following Linux command:

sudo apt -y update

Step 2: Install the package on Ubuntu 22.04. You can now install odoo-14 Ubuntu by executing this command in the terminal.

sudo apt install odoo-14

Install odoo-14 using Aptitude

Users can manage their installation, upgrade, and removal of packages with Aptitude and view a list of the packages that are currently available. If you haven’t already installed it on Ubuntu, run this command to do so.

sudo apt install aptitude

Then, you can now install odoo-14, just following these steps:

Uninstall odoo-14 on Ubuntu 22.04
