Ways to Uninstall and Install freedict-tools on Ubuntu 22.04

This package contains the FreeDict build system and its scripts, used to build and distribute dictionaries in the TEI format. FreeDict dictionaries are stored in a format independent from the dictionary program, called TEI. These utilities and scripts convert the TEI-formatted dictionaries into formats understood by dictionary programs. In this tutorial, I will show you how to install freedict-tools on Ubuntu 22.04.

Install freedict-tools using APT

Step 1: Obtain new packages from Ubuntu by updating the APT database. Opening the terminal and executing the following Linux command:

sudo apt -y update

Step 2: Install the package on Ubuntu 22.04. After updating the system, you can now install freedict-tools Ubuntu by pasting this command into the terminal and pressing Enter.

Install freedict-tools using Aptitude
