Ways to Uninstall or Install cpufreqd Ubuntu 22.04

cpufreqd is meant to be a replacement of the speedstep applet you can find on some other OS, it monitors the system status and selects the most appropriate CPU level. It is fully configurable and easily extensible through the many available plug-ins (more to come). Despite its name it can be used to control also the NForce2-Atxp1 voltage regulator and the core and memory clock for NVidia cards (see README.Debian). In this tutorial, I will show you ways to install cpufreqd Ubuntu 22.04.

Install cpufreqd Ubuntu 22.04

Install cpufreqd using APT

Step 1: The APT package repository cache needs to be updated before you try to install, update, or remove any packages. Obtain new packages from Ubuntu by updating the APT database. Opening the terminal and executing the following Linux command:

sudo apt -y update

Step 2: Install the package on Ubuntu 22.04. You can now install cpufreqd Ubuntu by executing this command in the terminal.
