How to Install and Uninstall 1oom on Ubuntu 22.04

This package provides an open source re-implementaiton of the game engine for Master of Orion (1993). In this tutorial, I will show you how to install 1oom on Ubuntu 22.04.

Prerequisites

  • Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04 or older Ubuntu versions
  • Privileges: Ascertain that you are able to execute sudo commands.

Prerequisites to install 1oom on Ubuntu 22.04

Install 1oom Ubuntu 22.04

Install 1oom using APT

This is one of the most popular methods for installing Ubuntu packages because it’s easy to follow, even if you are a newbie in Linux. Following these instructions to get 1oom on your Ubuntu.

Step 1: You must update the APT package repository cache before attempting to install, update, or remove any packages. Obtain new packages from Ubuntu by updating the APT database. Launch the terminal and enter the following Linux command:

sudo apt-get -y update

Step 2: Start the package installation on Ubuntu 22.04. You can now install 1oom Ubuntu by executing this command in the terminal.

sudo apt install 1oom

Install 1oom using Aptitude
